Andrew Flintoff is perhaps losing his fight courage just a tad bit after the surgery on his knee.

Flintoff is likely to be out of action from anywhere between nine months to a year. And while he put up a brave front for the Ashes experience, clearly the reality of the extent of the deterioration of his knee has come upon Flintoff.
While Flintoff has been told by doctors that similar surgeries usually have a good rate of recovery, he has also stated that no one can be too optimistic until the recuperation period is over. And he is also consoling himself with the idea that perhaps there may not even be a comeback!
