Flower is blaming the England batting order for leaving it all for the England captain, Andrew Strauss, instead of joining the skipper in his batting efforts.
Now it appears Ravi Bopara is a serious doubt for the fifth Test of the Ashes at the Brit Oval, Jonathan Trott can continue to wonder about his debut, and Ian Bell will perhaps have the shortest comeback in history if England go to the extreme.
Now the England cricketers are likely to be released to go back to their respective counties in a bid to get some form under their belt for the deciding clash. But would counties be accommodating of players who have been such underachievers?
