The last two ODIs in Port of Spain will be Brian Lara's last games before his home crowd
Team India has arrived in Port of Spain in the exotic Caribbean country Trinidad and Tobago for the fourth and fifth One-day Internationals. India trails the five-match series 2-1. The previous three games were all heart-stopping thrillers.

What makes the fourth ODI so special is that this is Brian Lara’s own country. He has made it very clear that the last two games in the series will be his last two games in front of his home crowd.

This is an opportunity for Lara, arguably the last of the great West Indians, to sign off in style. With a man who has an awesome record in his home ground in Queen’s Park Oval, someone who has a sense of occasion, the Indian’s can very well afford to be wary. So far, he has not clicked in the series and in any case, a big knock is due.

Brian Lara has been doing this all his life; it would rather be a surprise if he fails. But with the Windies leading the series 2-1, his knocks can very well coincide with a famous series win over India.

So will India be able to deny him his last wish in front of the prince’s own fans? For that, Team India will have to show the character that it has not shown very often.
