Distancing himself from the e-mail controversy, the re-elected CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) President Jagmohan Dalmiya dubbed Sourav Ganguly as a child and remarked that it was not right to talk about children.
Dalmiya explained that it is useless to speak about Sourav Ganguly whose email sparked the Indian Cricket recently. However, he said that as CAB president he was committed to help the players of Bengal.
A Triumphant Dalmiya said,
Why only Sourav? As President and Secretary of BCCI, I stood by (Virender) Sehwag during the ball tampering controversy. I also supported Sachin (Tendulkar), Harbhajan (Singh) when the going got tough for them.
He has agreed to fight for Ganguly’s return to the national cricket team.

What is more interesting in the recent episode of CAB election is the fight of CPM top brass over the issue.
It is really amusing to see how the politicians are fighting over cricket.
