Ganguly’s Retirement Ruckus: Lost in Translation?

Sourav Ganguly is stating a case of lost in translation perhaps. He is now taking back his allegations against the BCCI.

Sourav Ganguly had alleged in a Bengla television channel interview that given his form, he could have played a lot longer for team India a la Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.

He stated, however, that the BCCI had a policy of discrimination where the same rule did not apply equally to all players.

It comes days after Vinod Kambli, on a reality television show, alleged that BCCI had a discriminating policy in his selection and put an early end to a promising career.

Now Ganguly denies speaking against the BCCI or about how he was forced to retire early against Australia last year. Change of heart or simply lost in translation?
