Sports Minister M.S. Gill did not mince words, like always, expressing his views on the happenings at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.

The fifth ODI between India and Sri Lanka saw the match being abandoned after nearly two hours of play due to unfit pitch conditions.
Gill feels that what happened at the Ferozeshah Kotla was a matter of great embarrassment and that the BCCI owes an explanation to the cricket loving nation for the unfortunate scenario that brought a great deal of humiliation at a time when India are gaining predominance in the rankings.
