Jason Gillespie has admitted the hard realities that forced him out of the squad regularly since 2005 Ashes series, even in the latest edition of prestigious ICC World Cup Cricket in Caribbean islands.

The 31-year old tall fast bowler has agreed that his international cricket career is about to over and there is no chance of getting a call from Cricket Australia (CA) with the rise of Brett Lee and other young pacers to the squad.
Gillespie, who made his debut against West Indies in 1996 goes philosophical while stating,
I'm not saying I deserved to be in the World Cup, but it's a bitter pill to swallow when you get man of the match in your last two Tests and you aren't in the picture.
He added,
My chance of playing for Australia again is about as remote as you can get. The selectors have played their card, they have lost faith in me, they don't want me around and that's their call.
Gillespie has bagged 259 wickets in 71 Tests at an average of 26.08 making him Australia's fifth-highest wicket-taker.
