Former test batsman Gordon Greeenidge will lead the West Indies selectors. The West Indies Cricket Board has appointed him as the new convener of the national selectors. He would replace Joey Carew

It seems that West Indies Cricket board taking a series to ensure transperancy in the team selection fowling Lara’s complaints. The former opening batsman Greenidge will be in the selection panel along with Andy Roberts and Clyde Butts.





In another major development, the board has retained the captaincy of Brain Lara. He would be part the panel along with coach Bennett King. Lara complained that he was not considered in the team selection process during the India-West Indies Test Series.
