It was the last straw for the controversial former Team India Coach Greg Chappell, who was fond of sending personal e-mails to the media, the comment by Virender Sehwag,the Indian Opener.

As per Sehwag, Greg betrayed the trust of the team members, whatever issues were discussed by the team members with Greg they were promptly leaked out to the Board Members and worse the media.
Greg also wanted Sehwag to change his batting style, wanting to impose his own view on the front-foot play of the aggressive and explosive opener.Greg was no satisfied by the performance of Sehwag and wanted to change him accordingly,this and the lack of trust made Sehwag uncomfortable with Greg.
Sehwag also praised Gary Kristen the present coach as the best coach and praised his attitude by saying that as Gary knows that they all were international players obviously they knew how to play the game so as to play successfully. Gary is always there when you need him as a coach, friend,advisor.
Obviously this comment had made Greg Chappell very angry.He had to quit when India performed poorly in the World Cup 2007 and he also was involved in controversy with Saurav Ganguly.
In fact Greg was so angry that he promptly broke ties with Rajasthan Cricket Association also He was appointed as a consultant with the RCA academy to spot and groom the Twenty20 talent by IPL's Jaipur franchise. He does not want to be associated with Indian Cricket anymore.
At present Greg Chappell is the Head Coach of the Cricket Australian Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.
