A India v Pakistan match always brings out the craziest of emotions. And it did in the ongoing Asia Cup 2010 in Sri Lanka saw India win a close battle. But it also saw some battle scars.

Man of the Match, Gautam Gambhir, faced a particularly irritating moment that could have got out of hand as the Pakistan wicket keeper and the Indian opener got face to face in a moment of real aggression as members of the squad watched on as the tense atmosphere became only too apparent.
Eventually the Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, helped the seething Gambhir to back off from a possible fisticuff but not before Gambhir told Akmal what he thought of his excessive appealing.
But the match witnessed another astonishing moment when Shoaib Akhtar exchanegd words with Harbhajan Singh after the former bowled the penultimate over of the match before the umpire Billy Doctrove intervened, although it is hard to tell what the umpire would have understood with the exchange not being in English.
Eventually Harbhajan hit the winning six and gesticulated victoriously in the direction of the Pakistan fast bowler whose only response was to shoo away the Indian off spinner.
But it was Bhajji's moment, albeit provoked.
