In what is being called a first for cricketers, especially in India, Harbhajan Singh has found a unique way to market his brand.

As he looks to playing a bigger role in the IPL 2 for his team the Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan Singh has apparently sold the rights to brand his name to a firm known as License India. What this basically means that the company will now manage the right to use his name to endorse companies, products, set up restaurants in his name and so on and so forth.
The firm will now handle the case of using the "Harbhajan" brand name for merchandise, retail marketing and lend his name to various accessories as also setting up a chain of restaurants.
The move is expected to work well for Harbhajan in terms of earning revenue as the endorsement opportunities dwindle towards the end of his career and reap the retirement rewards. Expect to see Harbhajan across hoardings and accessories soon. Way to go!
