Harbhajan Singh Rues Missing Sachin's Innings; Rates Him Better than Bradman

India's leading off spinner, Harbhajan Singh, was sad he could not be in the Indian dressing room when Sachin Tendulkar scored his ODI double century. But nevertheless he did not have small praise for his team mate.

Bhajji rued the opportunity to watch the second ODI of the India South Africa from the dressing room as he was in the middle of his sister's wedding for which he had sought special permission from the BCCI to absent himself.

Expressing regret, Harbhajan said, "I am unfortunate, as I was not there on the ground to witness one of the historic moments."

But in true Bhajji style, he expressed himself, "But Sachin's performance definitely added to my happiness during the family function. I was busy in the family function, when one of my relatives came with the news of Sachin's double century and I could not stop myself from dancing."

Harbhajan spoke about the comparison between Tendulkar and Australia's late Sir Don Bradman, "I am short of words to praise Sachin. Some players compared him with Don Bradman. Although I have not seen Bradman playing but I am confident, he (Sachin Tendulkar) is better than him for which his records speak."

On what a great experience it is to share the dressing room with Tendulkar, who is also his captain for the Mumbai Indians franchisee in the IPL, "Even after scoring 150 in the ODI, Sachin never looks tired and keeps his focus on the game. I have learnt a lot from him, be it on ground or in dressing room. I always observe how he prepares himself for every match."
