Harbhajan Singh has once again reiterated he will not shy away from a contest, such as in the Asia Cup against Shoaib Akhtar, especially when his family comes under attack.

Bhajji was seen gesturing against Akhtar after smashing the match winning six in the Asia Cup 2010 match between India and Pakistan at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka.
Harbhajan is later understood to have told media persons that the Pakistan fast bowler kept repeatedly provoking him and that Bhajji had even spoken to the Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, about Akhtar’s abuses which he says were directed towards his mother and sisters.
It reminded back to the story of the FIFA World Cup 2006 when French footballer, Zinedine Zidane was awarded the red card for headbutting Italian defender, Marco Materazzi, for hurling abuses at him with similar undertones.
Perhaps India would be grateful that Harbhajan did not go down the Zidane route.
