There was bound to be reaction of John Buchanan’s comments in his book “The Future of Cricket: The Rise of Twenty20”. Who better to react than Bhajji?

Harbhajan Singh, India’s off spinner, states on his blog that nothing surprises him anymore, especially when it is a tirade of words from Australians. With tongue in cheek, Bhajji spoke about the Australians’ constant reference to him as a way of remembering him and of how much they love him!
But Harbhajan was not too happy that Buchanan, the former Australian coach and KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) head, had taken digs at the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar. Harbhajan touched upon the fact that Buchanan was making comments about cricketers but his reputation was called into question by Australia’s legendary leg spinner and Rajasthan Royals captain, Shane Warne, and was qualified by the fact the Shah Rukh Khan owned team failed to get off the bottom of the IPL 2 in South Africa.
Harbhajan Singh had a rather valid comment to make stating that Australians were surprisingly talkative against Indian cricketers ahead of a book release. He does not have a point. From Adam Gilchrist to Ricky Ponting, the books have created quite the furore and it has been a case of publicity without paying through the nose.
