Wonder what took it so long to come! The Pakistan Cricket Board chairman did what is being expected of Pakistan ever since the spot fixing scandal broke - passing the blame in a startling comment.

Ijaz Butt claims that there has been "discussion between bookies" that some of the England cricketers had taken money to throw the third ODI at the Oval and thereby, bring disrepute to Pakistan.
He claims that is the only explanation for why Pakistan won a game that England should have won. ( What must Umar Gul be feeling? ) He says that the England cricketers did it only to further devalue the state of affairs in Pakistan and stated that the ICC should be investigating England, not the Pakistan cricket team.
He also stated that bowling three no balls, as Mohammad Asif and Aamer did during the Lord's Test, was not akin to fixing.
