Imran Khan has slammed the current Australian team under Ricky Ponting, calling it the weakest Australian team he has seen.
His comments to a local news channel were to the effect, "This is one of the weakest Australian teams I have seen play, they are still recovering from the loss of some great players but they are surviving because of their strong domestic structure."
He also cited domestic structure, its weakness, for Pakistan's performance because in his opinion, Pakistan should have beaten this Australian team comfortably but instead were forced to return with their tail between their legs.
