Bangladesh, who appeared, stronger than expected the previous day, caved in like a house of cards thanks to Zaheer Khan.

The Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, singled out Zaheer for special praise after India beat Bangladesh 2-0 on their tour, as the fast bowler hastened the Bangladesh downfall, after the downfall of Tamim Iqbal.

From 228 for three, Bangladesh crashed to 312 all out, with Zaheer taking seven of the ten wickets to fall. India merely needed two runs to complete a ten wicket victory. Zaheer eventually had a ten wicket tally for the second Test in Mirpur, drawing special accolade of words from his skipper, perhaps after Dhoni has had enough of his bowling woes that have been exasperating in recent months.
