South Africa find themselves in trouble in the second Test of the India South Africa series with the honours on day two belonging to India. That was largely possible because of Virender Sehwag, although Sachin Tendulkar has kept him company rather well.

It is unusual but also explanatory why Virender Sehwag has become the man to watch even with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar in the Indian team. While teams are not ignoring the prowess of the established Indian line up, they are well aware of Sehwag's ability to take the match away from the opposition the way Sehwag has done at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
It was also the reason why Sehwag was openly declared target by South Africa's spearhead, Dale Steyn. While Sehwag cut loose in Nagpur in the first Test, Steyn become the feature highlight of the match simply because he was able to crumble the support team around Sehwag to hand India an innings defeat.
Once again Sehwag is on fire, scoring his nineteenth Test century at less than a run a ball and there is nothing South Africa and their captain can do, except bite nails. Wonder how many nails Graeme Smith has left?
