A week or two in Scotland have experienced much of chill and downpour. Previous tours have also been in a state of turmoil and proving to be a futile land to stage cricketing shows.
Cricket has no bigger gathering and seems to be most passionate when it comes for the India and Pakistan clash. Early exit of both the teams from the recent World Cup left their fans tormented. However, the current clash after a long time, made the fans more frenzied and jubilant. Green and blue spectators hooted and flags were hoisted aloft, to mark their presence in a bid to make the the most spectular and heart throbbing combat unforgettable. Thousands of fans, including locals, all over from UK and one cricket lover had flown off all the way from Karachi, but heavy rains since the very morning totally hampered the play to be set off.
Though Indian players were in high spirits of their recent series win, Pakistan players seemed gloomy as their short tour, finally came to a halt.
The two countries with same race, similar people, resembling culture and almost equal fervor for the sport, has proven to be a far superior way of keeping the arch-rivals together than politics.
