Even in the midst of a tense Bangalore Test, the Indian selectors have named the Indian squad for the India Australia ODI series and it is full of misses!

The Indian team for a high profile contest against the ICC ODI ranking no.1 team looks bleak barring the presence of the Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself.
Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma and Virender Sehwag are reportedly carrying injuries and will not be able to take part in the three match ODIs. Sachin Tendulkar has once again been rested for an ODI tournament and also on the rested include Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh.
On the bright side, there is scope for many on the fringe to test waters as it were against the best in the business. But the series is definitely lacking the lustre at this point.
