Just when one thought fifty-nine matches were a tad too many, the IPL 3 is set to get longer.

Keeping the Champions League Twenty20 in mind, the IPL governing council has extended the matches of the IPL 3 season by an additional match.
The sixty matches will now feature a face off between the losing semi finalists to decide who should take the number three spot.
