The infamous 'strategic breaks' will get a new life in IPL 3.

The strategic breaks appeared more about commercial revenue than of any benefit to the teams.

Now it will be reduced from seven and a half minutes in IPL 2 to five minutes which will then be divided into two parts in a single innings, which means four strategic breaks instead of the controversial two.
