Expect more fireworks at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai when the hurt Kolkata Knight Riders take on the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 4 Eliminator, the second of the knock out matches in the IPL 4 playoffs.

The Mumbai Indians denied the Kolkata Knight Riders an opportunity to perhaps stake a claim as the second best team in the IPL 4 points table. That position brings with it the opportunity to have two chances to qualify for the IPL 4 final. Now the ">Kolkata Knight Riders face a do or die scenario against the Mumbai Indians after the latter won the stunning final IPL 4 league match with a thrilling final over that cost the KKR tremendously.
However, nothing would be sweeter than revenge where it now matters, in the IPL 4 eliminator. The Kolkata Knight Riders started in tremendous fashion compared to previous seasons and having come thus far, they would not like to leave themselves hollow at this point.
The same could also be said for the Mumbai Indians who have always had the firepower but somehow failed to power through. If they can take a tremendous amount of confidence from the last match they should be unstoppable. The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have to get back to remembering their best and focussing on it if they are to put their last match horror behind them.
Either way, both teams know that they still have the IPL 4 qualifier 2 against the hurting Royal Challengers Bangalore before they take on the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 4 final. However, winning the IPL 4 Eliminator would be the first step, the starting point, of the three match marathon required to get their hands on the IPL 4 trophy.
