It has not been the Delhi Daredevils' highlight year in the IPL 4 thus far. And it showed why once more as the Kochi Tuskers Kerala were highlighted to get another win under their belt, at the Ferozshah Kotla in New Delhi.

The Delhi Daredevils yet again struggled to get off the ground with their top batsmen, including the Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag, getting starts but failing to carry on. Once again it was upto Venugopal Rao to add some substance to the innings and put a modest target on board.
At the end of the day, the Delhi Daredevils had to be satisfied with 140 on board, Venugopal contributing forty runs himself, Travis Birt injecting a little incentive in the end by way of twenty-seven runs. But overall it was a struggle for the Delhi Daredevils with Vinay Kumar picking up a couple of wickets but also, a newcomer in Prasanth Parameswaram standing out as he prized out a couple of wickets including that of Sehwag.
The Kochi Tuskers Kerala did not leave much guesswork as to who would be the winner with Parthiv Patel and Brendon McCullum adding thirty-seven runs each in the chase that seemed relatively comfortable even though tense until achieved but that was largely due to a couple of bizarre dismissals including the run out of the KTK captain, Mahela Jayawardene.
In the end, it was a facile victory for the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in an embarrassment of sorts for Delhi with the visitors winning the match with five overs to spare.
