In the final match for the Kochi Tuskers Kerala captain, Mahela Jayawardene could not contribute with the bat. But it did not matter as the Kochi Tuskers Kerala produced an all round game to beat the Rajasthan Royals comfortably in their IPL 4 encounter at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.

The Rajasthan Royals had just four batsmen scoring double digits, the best of these being Ashok Menaria's thirty-one runs in an otherwise pathetic batting performance from the visitors.

With modest target to chase, there was little drama with Brendon McCullum providing the initiative at the top with his twenty-nine runs from twelve balls, barraged by four sixes! Parthiv Patel scored useful twenty-one runs while Hodge completed an all round performance, scoring thirty-three runs from only seventeen balls that included a couple of sixes and five boundary shots as the Kochi Tuskers Kerala dominated over the Rajasthan Royals, winning by eight wickets in only 7.2 overs!
