Even though matters seem to have gone quiet following the IPL 4 Mumbai cheerleader being sacked, it appears that the story may yet unfold after all.

Although it is still at a speculative stage, it appears that the saga involving Gabriella Pasqualotto may be far from over. If anything, since the story about the fired cheerleader broke out, there has been a studied silence from the IPL organizers, the Mumbai Indians and the players themselves including Graeme Smith.

Although it is believed that an Australian cricketer brought it to the notice of the BCCI of Gabriella's blogging stints, it would seem that there is a deliberate hushed silence on the issue, almost as if it bury it before it gets big.

Word from South Africa is that Gabriella is not contemplating forgoing her summer's pay cheque without a fight. Instead she believes she has been unfairly fired while other cheerleaders are carrying on in matters inappropriate dalliances with the cricketers. Her harmless blogging, as she would put, is hardly contention to be dismissed without a job and pay and in that regard she may even threaten to take legal action against the BCCI and the IPL organizers over unlawful sacking. That of course would depend upon the clauses in her contract.

But whether she sues or not seems to be one of the many stories doing the rounds. There are also suggestions that she is selling her entire story in exclusivity which is why there is no further chirp from her. Instead the twenty-two year South African may have more to say on the issue and it could get pretty embarrassing for some of the people involved.

One plausible speculation is that perhaps Gabriella may have a case for the BCCI or the Mumbai Indians or the people in charge of hiring these girls to pay her dues and in turn, bargain for her to spill no more beans. Whatever happens, one will know how it unfolds depending on how much noise or lack thereof there is in the days to follow.
