The BCCI's parting of ways with Lalit Modi has possibly resulted in yet another deadlock on ideas and programmes on the entertainment network.

The rift between the BCCI officialdom and the suspended IPL Chairman and Commissioner has already seen one deal signed through Modi with Colors entertainment channel see cricketers being replaced for the Fear Factor's desi version, Khatron ke Khiladi, to be hosted by Bollywood actor, Priyanka Chopra.
Now apparently a programme in the pipeline, IPL Rockstar, featuring the likes of renowned singers such as Sukhwinder Singh, Kailash Kher and Hard Kaur, recorded around cricket stadiums, has apparently been shelved and in limbo following contractual ambiguity.
