Andrew Symonds' cricketing days with the Australian team could well be over. But not his Twenty20 career!

Symonds, who was last seen leaving the Australian team before the ICC World Twenty20 in England, will still continue his cricket career with the Queensland cricket team in Australia as well as his IPL stint with the victorious team from the IPL 2 season in South Africa, Hyderabad Deccan Chargers.
But now it is the New Zealand team from Auckland that want to blood him for the State Twenty20 championship. Although the timing could clash with Queensland's campaign, Auckland want Symonds not only with an eye on the Champions League Twenty20 next year but also, with the intention to attract crowds.
It was not so far in the past that Symonds used abusive language to let his thoughts known on what he felt about Australian cricket allowing a New Zealand cricketer, Brendon McCullum, play in their domestic cricket.
