Just two more days before the one day series gets underway and it appears all's not well in the Indian dressing room. Not only did India lose the second Twenty20 match yesterday, but they have had a bigger price to pay.

Ishant Sharma was seen diving at the boundary while fielding a delivery during the second Twenty20 match in Wellington. While he did go on to bowl a second over in the match, he remained unavailable to the Indian team thereafter, nursing his bruised shoulder with an ice pack.
While Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the team India captain, stated he was unaware of the extent of injury to Ishant's shoulder, it now appears that he may have hurt himself enough to miss the first ODI on Tuesday should his shoulder still feel sore from the bruising.
Though there are options in the form of support for Zaheer Khan with Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel and even Irfan Pathan, Dhoni will be keen to use the youngster in conditions that are likely to assist him.
It is a race for fitness for Ishant Sharma and Dhoni will need all the resources he has to stop New Zealand from continuing their momentum from the two Twenty20 matches.
