The England cricket team has been hinting at possible changes after losing the third Test of the Ashes 2010 at the WACA in Perth. And although popular opinion suggested that young sensation, Steven Finn, may be the one getting the break, it would now appear England will have to watch their changes carefully for the fourth Test that begins a day after Christmas.

James Anderson has apparently pulled up stiff after the third Test and doubts swirl over his fitness for the fourth Test. Although outwardly England are putting a confident spin on things by suggesting Anderson has enough time to recover, they will be keeping their fingers crossed, particularly after Australia have breathed new life into their own bowling through the likes of Mitchell Johnson and Ryan Harris which they hope to carry into the MCG with rumour that a more pace friendly pitch could be on the cards in light of Australia's victory.

Anderson spent time between the second and third Tests in England to by his wife's side as she delivered their second daughter but made it in time for the third Test. Previously Anderson hurt himself during an Ashes training session but recovered in time for the first Test. While England did not have to forgo his services for the third Test, there is a race to fitness on as England hope Anderson will be rested and raring to go by the time the Boxing Day Test starts as Australia have crucially tied the series at 1-1 with the win in Perth.
