In direct defiance of the Cricket Australia's directive to the Australian cricketers, Mitchell Johnson has openly stated he will continue to sledge the England batsmen because it is the secret to his confidence.

Australian fast bowler believed he was overcomplicating matters on the field and on the advice of the Australian vice captain, Michael Clarke, who reaffirmed his views, Johnson simply concentrated on running in and bowling fast and it has worked in him rediscovering form in the fourth Test at Headingley in the Ashes series.
But Johnson believes there is another reason why he looks like a different person before and after the Test. In his opnion, sledging has helped him regain his confidence and therefore, his form. He stated that sledging was perhaps something the England batsmen were not expecting and therefore, proved detrimental for them.
Well, Johnson is being attributed for Ian Bell's downfall. Wonder without talent, if Johnson could have done the same thing with just sledging to fall back upon?
