England are on a high and one would be thinking that the team would be basking. But they are not as Kevin Pietersen explains for the benefit of all on his Twitter page.

The England batsman used his social networking page to highlight the problems of England's practice session as the nets were left exposed to the rains that hit Adelaide. Forced to practice indoors, KP was certainly not happy and he let it be known.
This is what he had to say of the Adelaide ground staff:
What should a groundsman make sure he does two days out from a test match? Cover the nets when it rains maybe? Pathetic!
Australia did have an open practice session while England were forced to huddle indoors. And that it affected their preparations was not something Pietersen was willing to put up with. Another thing he cannot hold back is apparently is frustration, which he previously made evident again via Twitter when he was dropped from the England ODI squad against Pakistan. The ECB then fined him but it is interesting what happens here as the second Test begins at the Adelaide Oval in two days' time.
To be fair, Pietersen's frustrations must also stem from the fact that he has been under immense pressure as a batsman and with Alastair Cook successfully fighting them back through his double century in the first Test of the Ashes 2010 at the Gabba in Brisbane, eyes will most firmly be on KP.
