If one thought the war between Lalit Modi and the BCCI had somewhat quelled, the former IPL Chairman and Commissioner took it a notch to pitch his battle against the Government of India no less as his passport was revoked.

Lalit Modi has been involved in a battle against the odds since the conclusion of the IPL 3 season in 2010 over allegations of financial irregularities that have also seen the BCCI battle it out with the Income tax officials amongst others over irregularities with respect to IPL team owners as well as irregularities in the running of the Twenty20 format.
Now with the news that Modi's passport has been revoked over allegations of not cooperating with the Enforcement Directorate in the process of investigations, Modi has lashed out on Twitter and this time his grievance is with the Government of India.
Modi goes as far as to state that he believes the present Indian government is the most corrupt of all and that his case is being made more difficult on him because he had allegedly refused to bribe the investigating officers into making the case go away.
These latest aspersions, particularly as he has used Twitter, will probably not endear Modi any more than he previously has and his time outside the country, for which he states as a threat to his life as the reason for staying away from India, may now become even harder in the context of things.
