Even as another fast bowler compatriot contemplates his future, Shoaib Akhtar is going all out to ensure he is in shape for a future Pakistan call up, literally.

Akhtar apparently underwent liposuction which is stated to take about three months for recovery, according to the doctor. In the meantime, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not surprisingly angry with Akhtar's latest misdemeanour because he has a central contract which requires him to report all such matters before undergoing such a procedure.
Only time will tell what has been drained out of Akhtar, literally and metaphorically.
