Mazhar Majeed, arrested by the Metropolitan police in connection to the sting opertaion that points to spot fixing by Pakistan cricketers, makes further claims that the controversial Sydney Test on Pakistan's tour of Australia was also fixed even as the police apparently have suspicion about the ICC World Twenty20 2010 in the Caribbean.

Majeed is believed ot have told the undercover reporter from the News of the World, "Let me tell you the last Test we did. It was the second Test against Australia in Sydney. Australia had two more wickets left. They had a lead of 10 runs, yeah. And Pakistan had all their wickets remaining. The odds for Pakistan to lose that match, for Australia to win that match, were, I think, 40-1. We let them get up to 150 then everyone lost their wickets.
"That one we made £1.3 [million]. But that's what I mean, you can get up to a million. Tests is where the biggest money is because those situations arise."
Interestingly while the Pakistan Cricket Board saw it fit to punish seven of their cricketers only to change some of those verdicts. The ICC had a different take altogether with the ICC Anti Corruption and Security Unit ( ASCU ) gave the Pakistan cricketers a clean chit.
The police believe there may have been spot fixing going on during the ICC World Twenty20 earlier in the year and they have confiscated the mobile phones of the Pakistan captain, Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer, the latter two over alleged match fixing with no ball evidence being pinned on them.
