Shoaib Mallik is not taking Mohammad Yousuf's accusations lightly. Instead he is threatening to throw their personal battles out in the open, for everyone to see.

The Pakistan captain had named Mallik amongst those who were responsible for the fragmented performance of Pakistan on the tour of Australia.
However, the former Pakistan captain is not a mood to tolerate the blame game and is threatening to take up this battle. In his own words, "Yousuf has made some serious allegations against me and this time I am going to expose him publicly. Yousuf attacked me first when I was captain in 2008 and he is doing it again now when I have been made captain for the two matches against England. (He was made captain for the Twenty20 matches after Shahid Afridi was banned for ball tampering) These allegations are untrue. I have always been a team man and I have done nothing to spoil the atmosphere of the dressing room."
Yousuf had previously accused of Mallik for not showing enough respect for seniors and blamed him for wanting to switch to the ICL (Indian Cricket League).
