Former New Zealand captain who was also involved with the Royal Challengers Bangalore during the IPL, Martin Crowe, is proposing a knock Test cricket competition that, he hopes, knocks the socks, pants and what-have-you.

Crowe wants to put forth a proposal where in every Test becomes an elimination so that the bridge between the big league teams and lowly ranked teams will be merged into one cause- making to the next round. The tournament will be based on a yearly scenario with the final would then be played at Lord's.
Crowe, who is on the MCC's World Cricket Committee that includes the likes of Anil Kumble, Michael Atherton, Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh and Andy Flower, wants the situation in such a format that revenue sharing is also decided to help further the idea. In the process, he believes it will keep the Test playing fraternity together.
Crowe not only hopes that his idea will pass the muster but that it will eventually turn into a day and night affair.
