Damning evidence appears to nail some of the Pakistan cricketers from the ongoing Lord's Test that has now been mired in match fixing controversy.

Mazhar Majeed, apparently the kingpin behind the rigging, has claimed to the News of the World expose, through a sting operation, that he was friendly with more than ten Pakistan cricketers and that they were working in cohoots with him in terms of fixing and providing betting information.
Majeed claimed he and his brother were working closely with the Pakistan Cricket Board and that the players trusted him to bring to them sponsors, contracts, not to mention money from such scandalous activities, for which he claims to have opened Swiss accounts for them.
Majeed even claimed to cover for players saying they needed to do this in order to make sure they received money for their livelihood, claiming receiving pittance from the PCB.
He is said to have named Salman Butt, the Pakistan captain, as the "ringleader" and Kamran Akmal as one of the tainted cricketers.
Majeed apparently proved that spot fixing was happening in the fourth Test of the England Pakistan Test series at Lord's when he pinpointed exactly when two of Pakistan's bowlers, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif, would bowl no balls deliberately. Whether the fact that it actually turned out to be true proves the player's alliance with the bookies will need to be investigated.
Scotland Yard was spotted visiting the players at their hotel following the allegations.
