Former Australian bowler, Craig McDermott, believes Australia does not require a man of Brett Lee's talent in order to succeed.

Amidst strong speculation that Brett Lee will take a final call on his international career, McDermott believes that there is no reason for alarm bells.
In his capacity as coach at the Centre for Excellence in Australia, McDermott thinks he has seen enough talent to suggest that Australia does not have to produce a fast bowler in the league of Brett Lee in order to keep up the dominance. In his opinion, there is plenty of upcoming talent of young fast medium bowlers who do not rely only on pace to extract wickets and they could do the job nicely if given a chance.
