The war is on between two of former Pakistan captains even as Pakistan cricket continues to remain in a muddle.

Javed Miandad has vowed to meet Wasim Akram face-t0-face over comments that the latter made about the former.
Akram, who is presently in India for the IPL 3 with the Kolkata Knight Riders as their bowling coach, had stated previously that he was unappreciative of Miandad criticising the ways of Pakistan cricket while working on a salary from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The statement veers on the issue of the respect between them because Akram was also quoting as saying upon Mohammad Yousuf's retirement that Pakistan had a history for not respecting their cricketers enough and suddenly forcing them to bid adieu and that it had happened with Miandad as well as Waqar Younis.
