After great deal of anxiety and apprehension, Australia will heave a sigh of relief.

The Australian vice captain has been declared fit to play in the first Test of the Ashes 2010 at the Gabba in Brisbane, starting tomorrow. Michael Clarke has been the cynosure of all eyes for a back problem that has acted up recently again.
However, Clarke has since undergone fitness tests and after much haranguing is scheduled to take his place in the Australian playing eleven tomorrow. It will mean that Usman Khawaja may have to wait a while longer before he can don the baggy green.
Australia will be without the services of fast bowler, Doug Bollinger, though as he has been left out of the squad. Bollinger is believed to have recovered from the side strain but he has had no match practice since the injury and the Australian team is not willing to gamble and has decided to go with Peter Siddle to partner Mitchell Johnson.
It will be a disappointment for Bollinger who has been making his own plans for the Ashes.
