It would be hard to only blame the girls for going gaga over the Royal Wedding last Friday because it captured the interest of many an individual, including the former England captain who has been chirpy but not about the prince who would be king.

Call it the off season that has Michael Vaughan interested in off cricket field. But what he was echoing was the conclusion of many who witnessed the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The former England captain, who has turned into an observer of events around the world, expressed his concern on how the new Indian coach, Duncan Fletcher, would handle the media. But he was simultaneously conducting his own observations about the members of the royal palace and of Queen Elizabeth II.
While Vaughan wad quirky about the royal wedding invitation, he was downright naughty to encourage Prince Harry, the best man at the wedding,
to go forPippa Middleton, the maid of honour and sister of the bride.
Although Vaughan made that tweet announcement for the world to read, he was not entirely wrong in his observations either because Harry appeared to be teasing and flirting with Pippa and the duo made for an equally interesting couple as they followed the bride and groom in procession. Looking dapper in uniform, Harry seemed to defy the bad boy image that has often been portrayed and indeed became one of the highlights of the day himself.
The British obsession with monarchy would not be how one would describe Vaughan's choicest comments about Harry because the fascinating fairy tale wedding did indeed eclipse many events on the day, including the IPL 4 match between the Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians, as reportedly two billion people caught the action live on television. IPL 4 could certainly use that kind of boost in ratings, albeit without being too greedy.
