Mickey Arthur was slapped with a legal notice from the PCB after he made sensational comments to a South African website that hinted at South Africa's suspicions that Pakistan were indulging in match fixing.

This is what he told News 24:

The South African cricket team had a strong suspicion that that there was match-fixing involved in a decisive One-day International ( 2007-'08 ) against Pakistan three years ago and it took some of the gloss off the series win.

We did not have any proof, but when you have been involved in the game long enough, you know when something is not right. How else do you explain a batting side needing only 40 runs with seven wickets in hand, and then losing?

Arthur's remarks ahead of the release of his autobiography have not gone down well with the PCB who are currently battling to maintain a clean image for the team in the face of a barrage of allegations emanating from Pakistan's tour of England.

PCB had demanded an unconditional apology and also to publicly retract the comments he made. While the PCB believe Arthur was trying to garner publicity for his book while Arthur has apparently denied that he was framing Pakistan cricket for match fixing and has requested the PCB to read his book before drawing conclusions.
