Even as the battle between bruised egos is threatening to expose more muck that they would have originally liked, the allegations continue to storm on a stormy day for both men.

Even as the IPL governing council decided to meet informally in Dharmasala, venue of the 51st match of IPL 3, to get Lalit Modi's version of the story, the Minister of State for External Affairs, Shashi Taroor, faced a stormy session in Parliament as the opposition was baying for his blood.
Denying he had any intention of profit from the formation of the Kochi franchisee for IPL 4 in 2011, Taroor had to later deny more allegations that Lalit Modi was throwing at him, even though the Income Tax had trained their guns on him.
The IPL Chairman and Commissioner alleged that Taroor wanted the team in Abu Dhabi and stated that Taroor had an agenda of his own and that the IPL would not be usurped by people with vested interests.
There are also further reports that Sunanda Pushkar, who has been forced into the centre of the controversy by Modi's Twitter revelations, has a deal with the franchisee that is not only unusual but, also, raises speculation about the deal.
