Lalit Modi may have scripted a successful, money raking IPL script. But his cup of troubles with the Rajasthan Cricket Association brimmeth over!

Even as RCA approaches another election, Modi tried to throw a spanner in the works to stall it stating that a case related to the previous elections filed by former BCCI treasurer Kishore Rungta was still pending and therefore, the road for the next election could not cleared.
However, Modi himself has to answer a FIR that involves him as president of the RCA and Nagaur Cricket Association Secretary Rajender Singh Natu in a case that states that Modi forged papers for land in Rajasthan because he would not have been made president had he not been a domicile and not possessed immovable property either. He is also facing charges of embezzling funds from the association in Rajasthan. Anil Shekawat, a member of the Jaipur District Cricket Association, of embezzling to the tune of RS. 22 lakhs.
With his position in the RCA being hotly protested, there could be more trouble brewing in the BCCI cauldron soon.
