Lalit Modi was once again at it, presenting his best self for the world to see on Twitter as he dismissed the BCCI's second showcause notice, calling it a figment of their imagination.

That the suspended IPL Chairman and Commissioner is resting heavily on the former BCCI President, AC Muttiah, and his case over the BCCI officials holding control in the IPL franchisees became apparent in his Tweets, "A lot of you asking my views on case in Supreme Court filed by Mutthiah. All I want to say is case is sub judice. Truth will prevail here too."

Modi ruled out that the second show cause notice, issued by the BCCI at the behest of an email complaint from the ECB Chairman, Giles Clark, was of any concern to him. He even spoke in media interviews that the show cause notice was based on "fiction" and that there was no base to the allegations, only being perpetrated by those who want him out of the picture, so he suggested.

The Twitter did not differ, "Another day. Another show cause notice. Any guesses as to who's purpose ECB's Giles Clark was attempting to serve? At IPL finals I used a quotation from Bhagwat Geeta ‘fear not from what is untrue'. I believe in this, thus I am unperturbed by allegations."

Modi at his defiant best. Now the wait for his official response.
