A day after twitting about the dates of the Champions League Twenty20 second edition for 2010, the IPL Chairman and Commissioner is fending off accusations from the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Modi is denying accusations that the ECB was not consulted before the dates for the CLT20 2010 was announced. The clash of the tournament with the end of England's domestic season is not going down well for the board that sent forth Middlesex and Somerset for the first edition of the Champions League Twenty20.
Modi stated the constraints of the international cricket calendar did not give me sufficient gap to host the tournament and this was the only possible time interval, and the ECB would have to make some adjustments to ensure they did not clash.
But will ECB yield to the wishes of Modi and his men? Or will the England counties miss out on the opportunity to make millions?
