Mehmood Abdi, lawayer for Lalit Modi, stated, "Mr Modi has written a letter to Mr Manohar and Mr Srinivasan to confirm that the decision of the honorary secretary to refer the issues raised in the three show-cause notices to him and his reply thereof to the disciplinary committee."
While the BCCI introduced Jyotiaditya Scindia to the disciplinary committee, word is that Modi will be charged with a criminal case, and Modi is perhaps looking to counterattack by issuing a legal notice himself.
All this is still speculation but Modi does not want anything to do beyond his notice.
