Lalit Modi has once again come out with what he believes is sensational enough to be released to the media as well as he demands an independent probe into his suspension and makes serious insinuations against the BCCI bosses.

Modi makes no bones about the fact that he and the N. Srinivasan have no love lost between them. In a fresh email to the BCCI, he alleges that the BCCI Secretary sought wrong benefits for Chennai Super Kings. The BCCI secretary wanted handpicked umpires for Chennai Super Kings matches and Modi claims that when he was made aware of it, it stopped it in the interest of stop match fixing via fixing umpires.

The suspended iPL Chairman and Commissioner also alleges that Srinivasan did not want Kieron Pollard to play for Mumbai Indians after the Chennai Super Kings lost the bid and chose to dig dirt about the WICB.

He further states that the BCCI president, Shashank Manohar, should not be on the probe panel because the latter himself needs to be cross examined.

He writes, "Manohar used my phone, e-mail to contact Sahara Group and Dainik Bhaskar on bids. Manohar was fully aware of details of TV rights to Sony-MSM. I have documentary evidence to support the latest charges." He goes onto state that Manohar found himself under pressure to clear the Kochi bid from the now former Minister of State for External Affairs, Shashi Taroor, and even moved to push the bid beyond the deadline.

He demands that Manohar remove himself from the probe stating "as your participation in the proceedings would tantamount to being a judge, witness and a potential co-notice in these very proceedings."
