Mohammed Aamer-Ricky Ponting Spice up Proceedings on 1st Day of First Test at Lord's (Pics)

The tense first Test between Pakistan and Australia got underway late but it did have its spicy moments, particularly when Ricky Ponting and Mohammaed Aamer got into a bit of a tussle.

Young fast bowler, Mohammad Aamer, was ecstatic, as is shown in the picture above, when Shane Watson was dismissed as the ball trickled onto his stumps before the batsman could do anything about it.

However, the fast bowler's celebrations were getting to the Australian captain, particularly when he himself was dismissed after a terse stay at the crease.

Perhaps what also had the Australian captain going was the fact that Aamer had previously clashed in the course of his celebrations against Michael Clarke, who captained Australia in the two Twenty20 matches that Pakistan won.

If on that occasion, Aamer virtually bodily closed in on Clarke who had to hold onto the bowler before both could get their feet stable on the ground, his run in with Ponting seemed a little bit deliberate on the part with the bowler running right up under the captain's nose who kept his elbow a little more out than expected knowing a clash was in order.
